(More customer reviews)I didn't actually use this GPS Antenna as a GPS antenna per-se. I bought it just for the connector and a few feet of coax so that I could make an adapter to hook up my existing NMO mounted rooftop GPS antenna to my Kenwood KNA-G510. The Kenwood KNA-G510 is actually made by Garmin and is almost but not quite the same as a Garmin GVN-53. I know it sounds like craziness, but I threw away the antenna part of this item. Doing this was way less expensive than purchasing the proper rather hard to find connector (which I could only find available for purchase by itself in quantities of 1000 or more).
