(More customer reviews)I, too, was impressed by the price of this product. While I wasn't blessed with an $89 tag, $129 was far better than the $300+ the other big boys were asking. Not being at all familiar with the fancies of the more expensive models, I was thrilled for something simple.
The product claims to have Alaska loaded onto the CD, and the sales guy at Office Depot assured me it was fairly simple to get it onto the little disk that inserts, but not so! It keeps telling me that there is not enough space. I've taken out everything but the english folder, and the two US maps, and even then, no room.
I see now that I have to buy a far larger digital storage device and that $129 price tag is gonna cost me a bit. Let's hope that works!
I also found it frustrating that there is no wall plug to charge it with, and that I can't find a way to change my "home" to my Texas address. It apparently thinks my world starts on Canal Street in New York.
At any rate, it's not a bad deal for the money, but be aware that the more you pay, the more likely you are to get it ALL in one box.
