Get to your destination without fumbling through folding maps with the Tibo X350 portable in-car GPS unit from Atlantis GPS, which also features MP3 playback. This powerful yet easy-to-use navigation system is easily portable--weighing just 8 ounces. It features an integrated GPS receiver that locks in fast and provides door-to-door directional guidance with voice prompts in 18 languages. And should your route change as you're driving, the unit's automatic rerouting function will adjust to new directions within three seconds. The large, color touch screen offers a 3D view with pan and zoom functions.
The X350 has a 3.5-inch TFT LCD with a 320 x 240-pixel resolution and a built-in speaker. For closer listening to directions, it also offers a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack. Input options include the touch screen (with included stylus pen or finger) and 5-way jog dial with large buttons. It comes with US road maps loaded onto an included 1 GB Secure Digital (SD) memory card, as well as a DVD with entire mapping of the United States and Puerto Rico. The built-in media player is also compatible with MP3 digital audio files saved to SD card. Other features include route simulation before a trip, birdseye view, coast-to-coast routing, and searches by address, Yellow Pages, or waypoint.
The user-friendly Smart2go navigation software not only provides visual and voice directions to guide you on your route, but it also provides information on nearby restaurants, points of interest, gas stations, and other businesses. You can choose from three different directional modes (arrow, 2D, and 3D), and the night mode provides a pleasant, dim lit screen for usage in the dark. The software's easy-to-use menu structure follows well-known structures in mobile phone usage, so you'll get used to using it in no time.
