(More customer reviews)I wanted to get away from sticking my GPS to the windshield. I found a spot on my console that's smooth enough for a good suction cup grip and it works great. The mount is very heavy duty and has a good sized suction cup, which holds tighter and longer than the original suction cup did.
The unit is also a bit heavy, so if (when) the suction cup loses grip, it falls hard, but I've not had the unit lose grip and fall for over 3 weeks now. The original suction cup would fall off the windshield almost every day--even with a good cleaning before applying the suction cup. I'm really happy with this mount.
