I bought a sunshield at my local Toyota dealer thinking that they would have selected one that would be a good fit for the car's windscreen. How foolishly deluded I was: the shade didn't cover the whole windscreen, it was difficult to keep in place, it was flimsy and difficult to fold... I only stuck with it for a few weeks before looking for a replacement.
The custom-fit sunshade to the rescue! What a contrast. The shade completely covers the entire windscreen and the two little side windows, so it is much cooler in the car than with the previous sunshield. It is very easy to put in place, and because it is very stiff it stays in place even if you don't fold down the sun visors. When taking it down, it is easy to fold. Because it is so large it is slightly more awkward to install and take down if there is someone sitting in the front passenger seat than if you are alone in the front of the car, but it's not impossible.
I am very pleased I bought this product and would recommend it.
