(More customer reviews)This product is marketed for GPS units with a 4.3" inch size screen, however, the actual fit leaves a lot to be desired. I bought this item for my TomTom GO 730. First of, the assembling instructions that came with it, are way too small to be read. They just depict what the assembled product should look like, no guidance as to what goes where. Although the product does not have many parts to put together, one wishes that there were more instructions as to how to put it together and fit it over the GPS. The width of the actual visor is not wide enough to comfortably fit over the screen of the GPS. It takes a lot, to position it just right, so that the vertical borders of the visor don't lay over the screen. This is very important, because if the borders lay on the screen, you won't be able to operate your GPS. It is very hard to position this visor just right and then when you do, the mechanism used to keep the visor attached to the GPS doesn't help. The manufacturer uses a thin wire, molded in a shape that looks like a frame of glasses. This wire frame is supposed to go into a recess behind the front of the visor. Unfortunately the lack of instructions that I mentioned before, leaves you guessing as to how to fit it to the visor, leaving you to wonder how much pressure you need to push the frame into the visor before something bends or snaps.
Once I got it into place, it takes a lot of guessing to put the visor over the unit. You first place the visor over the screen and at the same time you need to fold back the "legs" of the wire frame so that they would snap behind the GPS and keep the visor in place. Unfortunately, because the width of the visor it's so narrow, it takes a lot of finagling to keep it in place. Once you got everything in place, forget about handling the unit too much, lest you want the visor to move out of place and the you have to start all over to fit it. It seems as if the product was designed to be a generic solution instead of something that will actually work and have a good fit. I would wait and see if TomTom come out with something better fitting. Unless you enjoy returning stuff by mail, save yourself time and money, avoid this thing.
