I installed this in my 2007 Nissan Altima with navigation system (Bose system and CD changer). It took a little bit of time to figure out how to fit the cables in the dash, but in under an hour we had gotten it installed. You could probably do this by yourself if you know what you are doing, but I installed it with help and it went smoothly. Do read the instructions/manual, especially if you have an 07-09 Altima as the installation differs from the manual a bit. For me I needed to connect it to the CD player and not the Satellite Receiver.
It was pretty easy to get the system up and running and it worked on the first try. Sometimes I will get a little lost in the menu system. For example if you are looking for a specific playlist it might be difficult to get to the folder with playlists; however, once you find what you are looking for it is very easy to skip through songs. The audio quality is very good and it looks like when switch to radio or a CD the iPod will pick up where it left off.
My only complaint is the menu used to access content on the iPod, but that is likely a limitation of the Nissan Audio/Navigation system. I would definitely recommend this as a nice addition to your car.
Cons:
Menu structure could be better (but this is probably a Nissan issue)
Pros:
Easy to use once you get to your playlist
Good audio quality
Overall:
I would buy it again and definitely recommend it.
