(More customer reviews)If there is a case or cover for a delicate item I own, I'll buy it. I guess that's why I have so many obsolete electronic products that are still 100% operational. I take care of my stuff.
I bought this for my new Magellan eXplorist GC. To be honest it is far bigger than I would have liked for that particular unit, (it is likely sized for larger Magellan GPSr's) but it is a nice neoprene cover that I can store the unit in when it is not in my hand and being used to find geocaches. The extra size allows me to tuck the lanyard into it as well. Heck I could probably fit my Droid 2 in there with it also, but it has a cover of its own of course.
It has NO belt clip, loop or anything like that. It is simply a wet-suit "mitten" without the thumb, that has an embossed "Magellan" logo on one side. Once you remove the GPSr, you would want to leave it behind, or tuck it into your pocket.
Nothing really special here. For $12 (shipped) I don't feel ripped off, nor like I got a great deal. It will do.
