(More customer reviews)Don't waste your money. This compass doesn't work. I attached it to my rearview mirror as suggested on the packaging, only to learn that the compass was frozen on NW and didn't move when the vehicle changed direction. I took it off and tried other locations in the vehicle with no change. The direction float moves, but doesn't indicate any direction other than NW. If it didn't cost more in freight to return the unit than the actual cost of the compass, I'd send it back in a heartbeat. I think this is a good example of getting what you paid for.

(More customer reviews)Despite the product description "... Mini Lighted Compass", be aware that there's no light. So if you need to use it in the dark you'll need to turn on your cabin light or use a flashlight. I didn't buy it for the light, but I dinged it down a point for the incorrect advertising.
Otherwise it's a nice functional compass that's small but easy to mount and see (but not in the dark).

Then, when the second one would only light up intermittently, I got really depressed. First thing I've ever had to return to Amazon. Great idea, but didn't work as intended. =(
