(More customer reviews)I purchased the Dice for my wife's A4. For a long time she was using a cassette adapter to plug her iPod into the stereo. The quality was okay but not great and the iPod had to be plugged into the cigarette lighter for power. The Dice provides for recharging and allows use of both the radio and steering wheel controls with the iPod.
Installation was straightforward. I already had the radio removal keys so it was just a matter of popping the radio head out of the dash, remove the connector on the back, plug in the Dice adapter and plug the radio harness into the adapter. I routed the iPod cable into the glove box where I intend to keep the iPod. I slid the radio head back into the dash and fired it up. Worked perfectly the first time. The sound is great and the steering wheel volume and track controls are very handy.

This device proved to be useless for this application as the computer failed to recognize the device. As this is the only application I have for the device I can not tell if it actually functions as advertised.

(More customer reviews)I just installed this interface along with an Eclipse AVN726E in my 2009 F-150. The included directions can be a little confusing so I took the advice of the inclosed flyer that directs you to thier website. The website will give vehicle specific step by step instructions, these were pretty easy to follow and much better than the ones included in the package. The Programing was pretty straight forward and I was able to do it the first time. The buttons on the steering wheel do control the same functions as before with the exception of the arrow button below the volume. In FM mode on the factory setup it would cycle through the preset stations on which ever band you were on such as FM1 or FM2 or Sirrus ect. Now the button performs more of a seek or tuning function. Not really a big deal to me and there may be a setting in the head unit I can change to make it work like before. The Media button works as before switching between inputs CD, Dvd, FM ect. All in all it works as advertised and I would recommend

(More customer reviews)I have had this unit for several months but did not really put it to maximum use until this past week. For a two thousand mile, eight city trip, it worked flawlessly. I did learn I need to put in my preferences. After that I was one happy traveler. Pulling into a north Chicago suburb late at night without a room reservation, I tried the points of interest feature for the first time. I selected a motel, it took me straight there without having drive forever looking or reading a map at night. This unit more than paid for itself on this one trip. Another feature I liked was pulling off the road and driving into a town I was not familiar with. After looking around for a while, I switched the unit back on, it replotted my route and got me out of town and on my way in no time. I am buying a unit for my wife and one for my daughter. These are no longer toys but a have to have for safety and convenience.

(More customer reviews)This device performs perfectly it is fast and easy to navigate the menus and options.
However there is no technical support no USB drivers to connect the GPS to Windows. The update software is on Unidens aulstrailia website and is completely usless because the GPS will not connect. Map updates are nonexistent. Even the non Kosher way's of creating maps do not work because of the IGO 8.0 maps are copywrited and the device will only read the copywrited maps not the homemade ones.
This is a great piece of hardware with no way to get correct maps the one's pre-loaded are about 4 years old.
