(More customer reviews)This product works pretty much as advertised and is easy to install (assuming you know how to route wiring through your vehicle and locate the +12v, ground, and reverse wiring). Picture is very nice and clear, and nice size, clamps securely on existing rear view mirror, and disconnects easily for storage in vehicle. 6", single cord pigtail disconnects easily leaving connector harness up in ceiling. Connected to reverse wiring the unit will power up in less than half a second and switch to video2 as soon as the vehicle is put into reverse. Connect a backup camera to run off the backup light wiring and camera will only be on as needed.
One caveat, using the device as a mirror pretty much looks like a conventional mirror in dimmed mode, so is hard to see after dark. Not sure there is a reflective coating that would have worked better, but that's just how it is.
Also, some functions (reversal of video, input select) are only available via the remote. Would be nice if you could access without. To be honest I find the remote functionality to be only marginally useful.
All in all I give this guy a big thumbs up especially for the money.

(More customer reviews)Overall, two thumbs up. I typically don't write product reviews, but I looked around and tried a number of methods and devices to do what I describe in the following, and after much time and mistrials, the only product I found that does it all is the GoGroove FlexSmart.
I wanted the product to do three things: (a) First, I wanted a car charger for my iPhone 4. The FlexSmart does that just fine, and the price of the item is about the same as an Apple car charger. (b)I wanted a iPhone holder for the car; it's OK for that. A little bit wobbly, but I feel safe mounting my device to it. Its gooseneck neck isn't too long, which probably adds to the stability, but it also makes it somewhat crowded around my car's dashboard controls (e.g., heater knobs). I can live with that. (c) I wanted an FM tuner base. I tried the only FM tuner presently suggested by Apple for iPhone 4, the Belkin, which contrary to what Apple states, did not work with my iPhone 4. The GoGroove tunes my iPhone 4 just fine.
A couple of minuses: (1) the materials the GoGroove are made from aren't top notch. It's worth the $40 I paid, but not much more than that. (2) I have to take my iPhone out of its bumper to properly seat with the GoGroove. The same was true with the Belkin tuner, so that's probably a problem with Apple's bumper.

(More customer reviews)This headunit is downright great it dos everything i wanted i like to fine tune everything and this one dos that really nice looks really really nice and sounds even better all i use is my ipod hook up to this and the remote buttons are easy to use then the headunit but i like it more anyway the one prob i have with the remote is there is a button on the unit it self for when your using a ipod or whatever you plug in to the usb you press it and you go threw all your music playlists ext... but that button is not on the remote??????.... other then that everything is great the FM comes is Great has lots and lots of options when you have your ipod in when you start your car it unpauses it and plays and charges and when you turn off your car pauses and turns it off all from one wire i never even touch my ipod nomore lol i have 2 amps coming off this unit one 4 channel and one 2 channel with front alpine component speakers and rear infinity's and a alpine 10" sub sounds fantastic..

(More customer reviews)I've owned Garmin's for more than 5 years and I currently own a NUVI 760. I've heard the great news about the TOMTOM 930 with IQROUTES, lane guidance, and the HOME feature so I decided to buy the 930 so I can give it a spin and compare it to the NUVI 760 with MSN DIRECT.
TOMTOM Pluses:
Arrival time -
The arrival time with IQROUTES are MORE accurate than Garmin's. The NUVI keeps updating the arrival time during the trip. I compared the arrival time from the start and the TOMTOM was more accurate. TOMTOM is constantly collecting the travel times and updating their database. When you sign in to the HOME program the IQroutes from your trips are uploaded to the TOMTOM server.
Routes:
If anyone writes a review about a GPS and states that routes are 100% accurate then they are lieing, I have not found the perfect GPS with perfect routes.
The routes on both the 930 and the NUVI 760 have been identical. With the 930 I see minutes left on the trip, time left, and arrival time. I can even tell the 930 what time I would like to arrive at my destination.I can AVOID any of the roads on my trip. You CANNOT avoid roads on the NUVI 760.
TRAFFIC:
I'm using traffic on the 930 through my ATT Tilt phone and it seems to work and it is accurate. It uses my Tilt to access the traffic on the TOMTOM server through the Internet. If you have cell coverage you should have traffic data.
MSN Traffic on the 760 is not accurate and the avoidance feature does not work that well. The bad thing about the MSN Direct feature is that it does not have good range. I live in Chicago and the service does not work in many of the outlying suburbs.
PLUSES:
Iqroutes are more accurate than the NUVI.
Lane guidance works in my area.
Avoiding roads on your trip.
Being able to correct street names, closed streets, one ways, and many other errors is a big plus.
Traffic works well.
The GPS chip has not lost reception. I've lost the signal numerous times on the NUVI.
More information on the 930 screen than on the 760.
TOMTOM minuses:
The screen is hard to see in sunlight.
The maps are not bad since I loaded the Garmin map look on the 930. I even have the magenta route line on my 930.
The battery does not last more than 1 hour.
The Text to speech does not work all the time. The street names are not pronounced as good as the NUVI.
You don't get the constant reminders that the NUVI 760 provides. Sometimes I don't think that I drive the 930 with my eyes close. With the 760 you can close your eyes and not miss a turn.
I cannot locate an address by ANY city like the NUVI. Sometimes the 930 cannot locate an address if it thinks it's in a different city. You have to input the surrounding city names to get the correct address and route.

Garmin HR Monitor Waterproof Soft Strap Monitors Review

(More customer reviews)The previous model of Garmin's HRM in my experience slipped down from its intended position during long runs. After a while you'd develop a "Garmin HRM shallow breathing pattern" just by trying to keep the thing in place, thus defying the point of training. No such problem with this newer version, which has more flexible strap and less slippery plastic, during the first 100 miles or so of use. In detail, the contacts are now embedded in the strap rater than in a long plastic casing. So far so good, am waiting to see if this has staying power or will eventually sadly sag like the other model.
In summary, excellent but not tested long enough for five stars.
Note: it is necessary sync the watch to the new monitor before you run with it, this is not automatic. See the 305's instruction manual.

I have a 2001 Honda with 4 pioneer mid speakers and 2 12 inch subs in a sealed box in the trunk with amp and this head unit powers it all perfectly. I used to have a Pioneer deck and my music is even louder now then it was before. The touchscreen is great and easy to use after the first 5-10 mins. Plays all my DVDs perfectly and the screen quality is GREAT. I would recommend this to any and everyone searching to put an in dash DVD system in their ride!
