(More customer reviews)There's not a whole lot to this product. For someone who doesn't work on his car or perform modifications in any way, this was a very easy installation with one caveat. I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and I had to search around for a while to find instructions on how to properly remove the front bezel around the radio (I don't have the link anymore but a Google search will turn it up). The key is having a sturdy tool to get under one edge of the bezel and applying a fair amount of force without being rough (you don't want to mar up your dashboard).
Once the hard part of getting the bezel off was done, it was a very simple matter of a few screws to remove the radio and plug in the iPAC to the DVD navigation port (for me it was the only empty port since I didn't have the DVD Nav system). Also be aware if you have a CD changer when you plug the power back in (even with the car off as I recall) the CD changer will start making noise and cycling through all its CD slots. This caught me off guard, but after it ran through all six and verified that nothing was in the changer it stopped.
Snaking the iPod cable through the back of the dash and into the glove compartment was a little challenging for my less than petite hands as well, but didn't take more than a minute to succeed. This product comes with both the iPod cable and the left & right RCA plugs for a stereo headphone jack but if you want to use the headphone jack you'll need at least a 3' RCA -> 1/8" headphone jack cable before you start (or you'll have to take the bezel off again when you want to add the headphone jack cable. It's very nice that this allows both the iPod connection and the headphone jack in one device. Note: the headphone jack will not allow the music device to be controlled from the radio or steering wheel, only the iPod connector.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Controls iPod from car audio controls
- Hides out of sight in the glove compartment
- Charges the iPod through the iPod connector
Cons:
- Doesn't display the ID3 tag info on the radio display
- Sound was not as full as I had expected (though that could be the recording on the device)
I would highly recommend this product for anyone with a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited!

(More customer reviews)Overall, two thumbs up. I typically don't write product reviews, but I looked around and tried a number of methods and devices to do what I describe in the following, and after much time and mistrials, the only product I found that does it all is the GoGroove FlexSmart.
I wanted the product to do three things: (a) First, I wanted a car charger for my iPhone 4. The FlexSmart does that just fine, and the price of the item is about the same as an Apple car charger. (b)I wanted a iPhone holder for the car; it's OK for that. A little bit wobbly, but I feel safe mounting my device to it. Its gooseneck neck isn't too long, which probably adds to the stability, but it also makes it somewhat crowded around my car's dashboard controls (e.g., heater knobs). I can live with that. (c) I wanted an FM tuner base. I tried the only FM tuner presently suggested by Apple for iPhone 4, the Belkin, which contrary to what Apple states, did not work with my iPhone 4. The GoGroove tunes my iPhone 4 just fine.
A couple of minuses: (1) the materials the GoGroove are made from aren't top notch. It's worth the $40 I paid, but not much more than that. (2) I have to take my iPhone out of its bumper to properly seat with the GoGroove. The same was true with the Belkin tuner, so that's probably a problem with Apple's bumper.

(More customer reviews)I have the Advanced Car Mount System FM Transmitter & Charger for about 2 weeks now. The first days, I loved it, it was doing everything as advertised. What I did not realize is the it is one solid piece, I was expecting that a loose wire between the cigarette lighter adapter and the cradle, it is actually the back bone of the system which makes the cradle standing by itself. The cradle is not attached to car by anything.
It it true that electronic is working perfectly however the weight of the phone is really the enemy, the little rubbers around the socket which goes inside the cigarette lighter have given up with the weight of the phone. So now, when I am turning the car the all apparatus is turning with the car and the entire stuff falls on the floor.
So, until this design defect is fixed, I would not recommend it expect if you have a very light phone not a EVO like me.

One of the things they left out was the fact that you can charge your Tom Tom using the USB cable connected to your computer. Insted they have a stern warning in their quick start guide suggesting you spend 30 bucks more to buy the Charger. The Charger works fine, but I don't think much of Tom Tom's business ethics in not including detailed information about their product when the consumer purchases it so you don't end up spending money on things you really don't need. For that reason, I wouldn't give Tom Tom any stars.

It will not. All you will get is crappie charger for cell phones an MP3 player with mini USB port. (Look at picture). I have a Garmin 255 and left it to charge overnight. After running a check up test on this unit battery charge was on a same level. (Just press and hold battery indicator on right corner for a few second and unit will run a check up test). Do not waist your money as I did. I wish someone will warn me here about this. We as a consumers need more protection against this kind of crappy products with false claims, which internet is full all over and sadly now here in Amazon as well.

This easily clips onto the 405 CX, and is powered via USB on your computer (the 405cx also comes with an AC adaptor for this clip). I just leave my 405cx clipped to this when I am not running so that I know that my 405cx is fully charged when I go running. If you have an iPod AC travel charger, you can use that to power this unit instead of your computer.
Important: Make sure that the contact points on the Forerunner are dry before attaching this unit or you may damage the Forerunner.

We were surprised to find this Gilsson AC Adapter capable of charging all three GPS units. I love this AC Adapter, because it uses a nice and compact right angle miniUSB connector, smaller than those available from Garmin and Magellan. This Gilsson AC Adapter appears to be very high quality with UL certified parts, unlike other generic AC Adapters. I have referred several friends and colleagues to Gilsson for this AC Adapter and they are all very happy with their purchase. I first learned of this Gilsson AC Adapter, because Magellan Technical Support recommended that I call Gilsson to order this compatible AC Adapter, as it has been tested to work with Garmin, Magellan and TomTom GPS Receivers ! It is very rare for a name brand GPS maker (Magellan) to recommend another brand name (Gilsson), but apparently Magellan has enough confidence in endorsing Gilsson products for their GPS users. Why pay more for OEM parts, when you can buy a high quality replacement at a lower price ? Happy Navigating !
