(More customer reviews)I had a Garmin GPS for 3 years until it was stolen, so I attempted to replace it with a less expensive unit. I've used it 4 times and out of these, it has worked correctly twice. One of the times it did not find a main street in my town that has been there for over 200 years. The last time (before I decided to return it) it was raining out and during a full hour long drive, could not find satellite reception, so it was completely useless. It's very slow to start up and at times difficult to shut down too. I do not recommend this unit.

Not only does the RW 355 have voice guidance telling you which way to turn to reach your destination, it has street name text-to-speech capabilities in English, French or Spanish. The RW 355 will audibly announce the name of the street or exit you will be turning on, enabling you to focus on the road. The RightLaneAssistantTM will even show you which lane to be in so you won\'t miss your next turn. But even if you miss a turn it\'s okay, the RW 355 automatically re-routes you. With 1.7 million points of interest (POIs) stored in its memory, you can locate the nearest airport, gas station, hotel, restaurant, hospital, shopping center or even a zoo no matter where you are.
