(More customer reviews)The original cable that came with my Magellan Maestro 4250 had a short in it. Every time I backed out of my driveway or hit a bump the GPS would power on as if I had just plugged it in. I used a regular USB charger for a while and it didn't happen any more but I needed one of these cables to also handle the FM antenna for traffic alerts. I've had the new cable for a week or so and have not had any more problems so I'm hoping my first one was just defective and not an indication of poor quality in all of these cables.
