(More customer reviews)I have now purchased 3 of these adapters....After searching for a bluetooth solution for all of my GM vehicles I came accross this product in a GM forum and I have to say it is hands down the best aftermarket buy I've seen for bluetooth. Currently I have one installed in a 2008 Sierra without Nav, 2007 GMC Yukon XL with Nav, and a 2007 Cadillac Escalade with Nav. All of these never offered bluetooth from the factory, only Onstar and I really wanted handsfree operation with a "factory" feel and this product gives it. Installation is litterally a 5 minute plug and play, the video on their website shows you how to do it in 5 minutes. I've paired my iPhone, Blackberry Bold, Bold 2, and Curve and all work great and the A2DP streaming audio is terrific. There are adjustments in the system menu that allow for volume adjustments of phone calls and streaming audio so that once you switch back to a normal source you don't blow out your ears. The only issue I've seen is the AVRCP with the iPhone, in the Sierra when I press the play/pause button on the sterring wheel controls it only mutes the music which is the factory preset function, it won't pause the iPhone. Overall great product.

(More customer reviews)I'm rocking the BFHA in a 2007 Honda Civic Si, and for a phone, the iPhone 4. As an interface for making and receiving calls, it works really really well. The calls are clear and nobody has any problem hearing me. Using the radio buttons to initiate the calls is somewhat confusing, but using the phone itself, it couldn't be easier.
One of the big reasons I got this particular bluetooth unit was to also be able to play music from the phone through the stereo wirelessly. This also works pretty well. it's even possible to advance through tracks using the steering wheel controls, which is really cool. So, for example, I can be driving down the highway streaming Pandora, and skip a song I don't like. That's really neat.
My one complaint (so far) is that the gain on the a2dp seems to be too high. What I mean by this is that the music comes on really loud in comparison to other sources. Which isn't that big of a deal in and of itself, but this also seems to result in the highs being somewhat "blown out" and crackly. Even if I turn down the volume of the phone, when the volume of the headunit is turned up to get to the same volume, some songs seem to have this problem. I've used this phone with a2dp bluetooth headunits from Pioneer and Sony and do not have this problem.
All that said, I haven't spent very much time troubleshooting the problem and I hope to find a remedy with a little work. I had a minor snafu with the install (my mic ended up being defective), but to my pleasant surprise Scosche representatives are easy to reach, even on Saturdays. I'm hoping they might have some thoughts on this gain/volume issue.

(More customer reviews)I finally installed a hard wired bluetooth hands free system in my car after using an earpiece for months/years. The MKi9200 is OUTSTANDING; I wish I had installed one a long time ago. The installation for my 2006 Trailblazer required a wiring harness from one of the Parrot vendors listed on their website which costs an extra $75. Regardless, the voice recognition feature is perfect and the radio mute feature works seamlessly with my factory stereo. The calls are crystal clear and everyone can hear me without any difficulties. I found the installation fairly easy and would recommend this product to anyone who is tired of charging, turning on/off, and finding, your blue tooth ear piece.

(More customer reviews)This head unit far surpasses anything I have ever owned. The quality that you would expect from JVC is there, and its amazing. I upgraded from a JVC KW-AVX820 with bluetooth adapter. The only thing that I miss is the remote, as it makes it possible to operate the unit while keeping your eyes on the road and the fact that the IPOD interface is on the front, instead of on the back, making it possible to hide the cable in the glove box. Other than that, it was a great investment.
SD / Thumb drive: You can insert a SD card in the back. I have a 16 GB card, with approx. 2500 songs (3/4 full) plugged in the back of the head. This is very nice, and made it possible to forego plugging in my IPOD. The card is indexable by artist / title, and it is very fast to index and load the songs. Virtually no delay at all. There is also a USB and AUX port on the front, making it possible to dock MP3 player, thumb drive, etc. I use a 8GB thumb drive to supplement my SD library. My kids bring their IPODS on trips, and they sync them up bluetooth, which again is very nice.
The bluetooth audio is awesome - no complaints.
The bluetooth phone is very nice. It has an adjustable loudness / muting control to determine how much it mutes the audio during a phone call. It remembers all calls in or out for quick return calls, and it downloads the phone book from the phone that is paired with it.
The navigation is out of this world. the display is google maps, and you can view it in 3D, 2D, or like a normal GPS. It has a phenominal amount of POI's (points of interests) including everything from rest stops to restaurants, stores to fast food, gas stations, etc... even campgrounds. And once again, the voice directions volume is adjustable in relation to the audio that is playing. you can even look up directions by phone number, or by entries in your phonebook. You can down load a small app from google which allows you to completely plan and save a trip with way points, itinerary, etc..., save to the SD card, plug it in the head unit, and it is instantly available.
The HD radio is nice, although somewhat limited where I live. But in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Wichita, it works amazingly. You can "tag" songs that you like, and then order them from Itunes. It also has local news and traffic updates right on the screen whether it is on the NAV or Music screen. If it detemines that traffic is slow or impeded(example I-25) there is a detour button that pops up and will route you the best way around it. I only used it once, but I was very very impressed!
