The bad: I've broken two of these already (with a Garmin GPSMAP 60Csx, but I doubt that matters)...not by any harsh use, but just by bending over. They are not very sturdy. They break in exactly the same way, the track cracks just above where the button sits. Once this happens, the GPS can pop out easily without you even knowing it. They really should be made stronger.
The good: They work great (until they break). Very quick to attach/detach GPS.
I'm considering ordering a Carabiner Button Clip (Garmin 010-10481-00) as an alternative, but I have not tried that product.

Hi,
I bought this cable for Colorado. It worked but colorado has some issues regarding this cable. At this time of written, it is no longer supported by Garmin, when it is used with Colorado.
Good luck!

Garmin Bike mount Review

Me and my wife just finished a self contained bike tour of the blue ridge parkway and this mount stayed strong throughout the entire ride (I broke a magellen mount on a similar ride a few years ago). It does fit a bit tight on your handlebars, and keep in mind it is made for 1 inch tubing (i.e. not the OS/1 1/8"" tubing that comes with a lot of newer bike handlebars).

Garmin Alkaline Battery Pack for Rino 520 and Rino 530 (010-10571-00) Review

The alkaline battery pack is a must have for the Rino if you're without power to recharge the main battery. The battery pack takes 4 AA batteries and lasts for several hours. With moderate use, it will last a 2-3 days. It does add a little bulk versus the main battery, and it reduces the radio range to 2W (which made me drop one star), but an excellent insurance policy if you're miles from nowhere. I used it in the arctic with no problems.
