(More customer reviews)Worked great to wire up a new Pioneer GPS into our 2006 Ford Explorer. It allowed us to wire everything while sitting in the kitchen at the table. Lot's easier than hanging my head under a dash. We connected all the wires from this unit to the wiring harness supplied with the new head unit. I then brought the parts out to the truck and plugged everything in.
This unit allows control of the factory subwoofer, connects the emergency brake wire to the GPS (Needed for all aftermarket GPS head units), and even signals when the headlights are so the head unti dims and changes the GPS display to nighttime mode.
This unit is a must if you are going to install a new radio into a late model Ford car or truck. Yup, it costs nearly $100, but the time you save in wiring is priceless. I was able to install the new radio in less than 90 minutes......and I am not a professional installer.
