(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my 2003 Audi Allroad with the 5 disc in dash CD changer. Removing the stereo using the special keys proved the most difficult part of the process. Once removed it was simply a matter of plugging in and running the cables. I chose to run the cables to the passenger side foot area (there is a hole/access already). I chose to keep the unit in the floor area rather than having it behind the stereo. I chose to do this because of the suggestion in the included manual, so theoretically I can access the AUX input. In hindsite I wish I had put it behind the stereo as there is no good place to store it (I ended up using double stick tape).
Why not 5 stars? The iPod 30 pin plug is massive and will interfere with nearly any case. I use this primarily with an old hard drive ipod without a case, but if I want to use it with my iPhone 4 I have to remove the bumpers case.
