(More customer reviews)these actually do not put out as much treble or overall volume as my oem 5.25 speakers. They don't necessarily sound bad though. I'm not sure I'd consider them a step up, more like just a step sideways. also bought these in 4x6" size, which were a good replacement for that specific size.
