My only issue is it doesn't hide the sun. Spend the extra $$ and buy one that will
block the sun. It does what it says it does, holds your gps.

(More customer reviews)We own a Tom Tom 1 XL. This is a suitable replacement for the original mount. It is a bit bulky, but works fine. Would have rated it higher, but more room is needed for storage.
Especially like the way it has a twist lock to engage the suction cup.

(More customer reviews)This works perfectly in both of my vehicles. It adjusts easily and it's sturdy and stable enough to take on bumpy logging roads without any problems. The only issue I have with it is that you have to plug in an already bulky power plug into a power socket right on the unit. Combine that with the long cable connecting the plug to the GPS, and you have a lot of wire to wrap up. What I would really like to see is a unit with a GPS power plug built right in to save space. Still, this is a lot better for me than a windshield suction cup or beanbag holder.

(More customer reviews)Just to clarify: I own this unit and while it's exactly what I was looking for (needing neither Bluetooth nor Voice Command) I can clarify the inaccurate information stated above - the 5310 has neither of these features. The Magellan Maestro 4050 4.3-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator has both features available for those who are interested. It is possible that we'll see Voice Command came out as an upgrade for the 5310 as it did for the 4050, but it's not there now. That said, this is a great little unit with a large, easy-to-read screen, great AAA extras, good maps and a very intuitive user interface. I'd highly recommend it and at $350 Amazon has one of the best prices I've seen (it's $500 elsewhere).

(More customer reviews)I bought one of these a few years ago for my 07 mustang because of being so happy with the one I had gotten for my 96 Jimmy. Well this one NEVER did fit right, it was about 3 inches too narrow, now after using it for awhile it's even worse. I contacted Heatshield right away and they insisted it fit. I don't know why they insisted I was wrong about the fit, what did I have to gain by lying? I offered to sent pictures but they didn't want to hear it said that's what they make for my car and that's it. After about a year of use the silver and white layers have separated and when you try to roll it up to put away it swells up like a balloon up making it almost imposable to roll up you have to be VERY patient while the air escapes which is very annoying. It's a shame I would have given it 10 stars it fit properly, stayed together like it was designed and customer service hadn't insulted my intelligence about the fit.

(More customer reviews)The Roadmate I received from another Web-based company wouldn't stay energized due to a faulty cradle power plug. When I couldn't get in contact with customer support I ordered this replacement. It works flawlessly! My only complaint is that the power plug doesn't seem any better bolstered than the original, and I hold my breath everytime the powercord puts any stress on the plug, for fear that it may break again.
